Porcellio laevis giant orange

Porcellio laevis ‘Giant Orange’

Bright, bold and seriously eye-catching, Porcellio laevis ‘Giant Orange’ is a fantastic choice for anyone looking to add a splash of colour to their isopod collection.

These chunky orange isopods are known for their large size, active nature and vibrant orange colouring. They are excellent little cleaners too, making them a popular choice for bioactive setups where they help break down decaying plant matter and organic waste.

‘Giant Orange’ are generally easy to keep and quick to establish, making them suitable for both beginners and experienced keepers. Give them a well-established enclosure with plenty of leaf litter, decaying wood, hiding places and a suitable substrate, along with a consistent source of calcium, and they can thrive and reproduce readily.

At Isolife, we select healthy, well-established colonies to give you the best possible start with these fantastic little recyclers.
