Dryadillo sp. “Dream” is a beautiful and sought-after isopod known for its soft pastel tones and dreamy coloration, which give this species its fitting name. Individuals often display a blend of pale creams, light pinks, and soft lavender hues, creating a delicate and almost ethereal appearance that stands out in any collection.
This species has the classic Dryadillo body shape, with a smooth, rounded exoskeleton and the ability to conglobate (roll into a ball) when disturbed. Their compact build and gentle coloration make them particularly attractive when observed against dark leaf litter or natural substrate.
In captivity, Dryadillo sp. “Dream” prefers warm, humid conditions with good airflow. A naturalistic enclosure with plenty of leaf litter, cork bark, and decaying hardwood provides both food and shelter, allowing the colony to behave naturally. Maintaining a moist area alongside a slightly drier zone helps create the humidity gradient they need to thrive.
