Armadillidium hauseni is a beautiful and hardy species of isopod that has become increasingly popular with hobbyists. They are known for their crown on there head and subtle natural colouring, which gives them a clean and classic Armadillidium look.
Like other members of the genus, they are able to roll into a tight ball when disturbed as a natural defence mechanism. They are generally calm and easy to keep, making them a great choice for both beginner and experienced keepers.
Once settled into a suitable enclosure, Armadillidium hauseni will spend their time exploring the enclosure, feeding on leaf litter, and hiding under bark or wood.
