The Pink Lambo Isopod is a striking and highly sought-after species from the genus Ardentiella, admired for its vibrant pink hues and bold, armored appearance. Its coloration ranges from soft rose to deeper bubblegum pink tones, often contrasted by darker segmentation that highlights the sculpted texture of the exoskeleton.
This species is considered a premium collector’s isopod due to its unusual color and distinctive body shape. Like many tropical isopods, Pink Lambo thrives in warm, humid environments with abundant leaf litter, cork bark, and decaying wood to provide both shelter and natural food sources.
Although somewhat shy, these isopods play an important ecological role in bioactive setups by helping break down organic material and recycling nutrients within the substrate. With stable humidity and a well-established enclosure, colonies can grow steadily over time.
